THE FOUR STATES EXPLORER TWO DAY TOUR!...

Fly from Mildura to the famous Coopers Creek for an overnight stay in Innaminka and fly over Lake Eyre on your journey back to Mildura!

Coopers Creek / Innamincka

This is the last resting place of the famous Explorers Burke and Wills. Innamincka is situated 1105km north-east of Adelaide, and provides a peaceful vantage point to view the history and birdlife of this area. This outback oasis is the focal point of one of Australias best known explorer tragedies, but in retrospect, it provides the quenching sanctuary for an abundance of bird life, in a relentless desert.

Itinerary

DAY1: Depart early morning Mildura, for morning tea on the Coopers Creek, and short tour of Burke and Wills historic site. At Innaminka, known for the Australian Inland mission hospital, stop for lunch and a boat cruise. Stay in ozzie rustic accommodation with Dinner bed and breakfast. DAY2: Stop at Birdsville for tour of township, musuem, Burke & Wills tree and hydroelectric system.
